Witnesses sought for criminal damage investigation

21st of January, 2026

Dear Residents,

I am investigating a criminal damage that has occurred to the public footpath sign that is located on Whins Lane near to the Turner Fold junction the sign has been uprooted from the ground and dumped nearby. I would imagine it has taken a degree of force to physically remove this sign from the ground so I'm appealing for any witnesses that may have seen something suspicious at this location in between Christmas and New Year.
